We try to give back to the animal rescue community when we can, and when we saw this puppy’s story we just had to help out.
Lil’ Kim was pulled from the Lockhart animal shelter by a foster and brought to the Austin Dog Rescue vet. She had a terrible injury to her face and needed emergency surgery.
She’s doing better now but still has a way to go. Recovery from surgery can be tough, especially from serious injuries like this, so it’s important to keep them warm and comfortable. Lil’ Kim only weighs a few pounds and most dog clothes are just too small, so we created a sweater and fleece-lined pajamas just for her.
