Sewing Classes
Sewing Tutorials
For beginners, start by learning how to use a sewing machine, common sewing tools and fundamental techniques. For experienced stitchers, expand your skills by learning to make more complex sewing projects in advanced sewing classes or arrange personalized sewing lessons to cover topics that you want to learn. Options are also available for training commercial sewing staff on industrial sewing machines and working in a production environment.
- For adults and kids (ages 7+)
- Taught by a professional seamstress and experienced teacher
- Advanced, multi-camera online learning environment
- Instructor-led private classes scheduled when you want with discounts for multiple people
- Enroll in recorded, on-demand classes to watch online and learn at your own pace
- Options for all experience levels, beginner to advanced
- Training for industrial sewing machines and commercial sewing staff
- Recurring and long-term lessons can be organized, including after-school sewing programs and camps

To provide a personalized experience and accommodate busy schedules I primarily offer private, instructor-led sewing classes that are scheduled when it's best for you - weekends, weekdays, evenings, holidays or school breaks. Some classes are also available to enroll in and watch online to learn at your own pace.
From my sewing studio in Austin, TX, I teach online sewing classes to students locally, across the United States and internationally.

If you don't see a sewing class that includes what you want to learn then personalized sewing lessons can be developed to cover exactly what you want to learn. For example:
- Create sewing projects using commercial patterns or your own designs
- Get help with a challenging part of a project
- Learn about altering, upcycling or refashioning garments
- Options for beginner to advanced students
- Projects include design, fashion, and decor
- Custom curriculum is developed to cover specific projects and techniques
- Can be coordinated with schools as part of their programs for students
- Keep kids active with engaging activities over school and holiday breaks
- Organize group lessons for friends or siblings
- Significantly discounted rates, with additional discounts for multiple people
