This is a beginner-friendly project where I’ll demonstrate how to upcycle a bandana into a face mask using hand sewing techniques and non-sew methods.
If you don’t have a bandana or if you want to use other material just about any cotton fabric will do.
- Bandana (or any other piece of cloth)
- Sewing needle and thread (but can also be done without sewing)
- Scissors
- Measuring Tape
If you’re interested in learning more I offer virtual sewing lessons so you can learn to sew from anywhere.
This was filmed as part of Waterloo Greenway’s Waterloo-In-Place Live Art Class.
