Custom pocket squares for the groomsmen and personalized capes for children in the wedding party.

A friend of mine got married a few weeks ago, and she asked me to create something unique for the kids participating in the wedding, and the groomsmen.

She really liked the capes I created for other clients, and thought that pocket squares would be a nice, subtle way to add the wedding colors to the groomsmen’s wardrobes.

Based on images of flowers and succulents that showed the general direction for the wedding color scheme, I selected corresponding fabrics that would tie together with the overall theme for the wedding. This was a solid navy blue, and Kaffe Fassett Shot Cotton Spruce and Clementine fabrics.

The accessories were a huge hit at the wedding, especially the personalized capes, that the kids really enjoyed wearing!

Children’s Capes

The capes were made with the navy fabric on the outside, lined with the Spruce fabric, and straps made from the Clementine fabric. Each cape was personalized with the child’s initial, made from the Spruce fabric.

Pocket Squares

The custom pocket squares were made from the Spruce fabric, and the edge finished with a rolled hem for a simple, clean look.
