Class/Lesson Terms & Conditions

Ronkita, LLC (A/K/A "Ronkita", "We", "Us", "Our", or the "Company") provides sewing instruction (referred to as "class(es)" or "lesson(s)" hereinafter) to you subject to the following Terms and Conditions. When you register or pay for a class/lesson you accept these Terms and Conditions as an agreement between you as the student, or the student's legal guardian, (referred to as "you", "your", "student" or "user" hereinafter) and Ronkita.

These Terms and Conditions apply only to classes and lessons scheduled or organized directly with Ronkita. We also teach at other businesses that setup, manage, and take registrations for classes/lessons using their own systems, processes, and policies. We are not responsible for the practices of these other businesses, and our terms & conditions are not applicable to their business, the products or services they provide, or your interactions with them.


Definitions

Public Class

  • Set curriculum and timings
  • Available at a set date, time, and location
  • Open to anyone to sign up

Private Class

  • Set curriculum and timings
  • Date, time, and location are arranged directly with the student

Lesson

  • Custom curriculum and timings
  • Date, time, and location are arranged directly with the student

Payment

Public and Private Classes
Fees are due when you sign up to hold your place. Your place is not confirmed until full payment has been made.

Lessons
A deposit for one hour is required to hold your time for a lesson. Payment for time after the first hour is due at the end of the lesson.


Times & Late Arrivals
  • All classes/lessons start at the designated time.
  • There is a 10-minute waiting period after the start time to accomodate late arrivals.
  • If the teacher doesn't recieve notice before the start time that the student will be late, it is at the discretion of the teacher to cancel the class/lesson after the waiting period. Refunds will not be given if the class/lesson is cancelled because the student failed to arrive on time.
  • If a teacher receives notice before the start time that a student will arrive late, it is at the discretion of the teacher to extend the class/lesson time. Refunds will not be given for time that was missed by the student.

Materials & Supplies

Please use the materials/supplies list (if applicable) to make sure you have everything needed for the class/lesson. These lists are provided in the class/lesson descriptions, and you can contact us if you have any questions about what to bring. We are not always able to supply machine accessories or supplies if you forget yours. Class/lesson fees will not be refunded if students fail to bring the necessary materials and supplies.


Cancellations & Refunds

Please check your calendar carefully before committing to a class/lesson. We appreciate as much notice as possible for cancellations.

  • Cancellations received at least 5 calendar days before the start date of the class/lesson shall receive 100% refund of the class fee or lesson deposit.
  • Cancellations received within 2-5 calendar days before the start date of the class/lesson shall receive 50% refund of the class fee or lesson deposit.
  • Cancellations received fewer than 48 hours before the class/lesson start time shall not receive a refund of the class fee or lesson deposit.
  • Refunds will not be given if the class/lesson is cancelled because the student failed to arrive on time.
  • Refunds will not be given for time that was missed by the student.
  • There are no refunds for students who fail to appear for the class/lesson.
  • Class/lesson fees will not be refunded if students fail to bring the necessary materials and supplies.
  • Refunds are not given to students who fail to contact us at the guidelines listed above. No exceptions.
  • Refunds can take at least 7-15 business days to process.
  • All services rendered by Ronkita are provided on a non-refundable basis.
  • In the unlikely event that the class/lesson is canceled by Ronkita, you will receive a full refund.

Rescheduling
  • Private classes and lessons can be rescheduled if notice is received at least 48 hours before the start time. Rescheduling can only be done one time, and after that, if you can't make it, you must submit a request to cancel the class/lesson and will be held to the cancellation guidelines above.
  • Requests to reschedule a private class or lesson received fewer than 48 hours before the start date/time will be honored at the discretion of the teacher. Refunds will not be given if the teacher cannot reschedule the class/lesson.
  • Public classes will not be rescheduled and students will be held to the cancellation guidelines above.
