In this video, you'll learn about the necessary supplies and the steps to thread elastic through a casing using the two safety pin method. This technique is commonly used to replace elastic that has worn out in a garment, like an elastic-waist skirt. It can also be used to rethread a drawstring that has been pulled out of a hoodie or shorts. Two safety pins are used to help guide the elastic through the casing, and prevent the other end from pulling through.
